You're Only Massive
The Wolfetone Street Pharmacy| 9pm | €10
You're Only Massive was founded in Waterford in June 2007 to create live performance that is direct, intimate and fun, engaging body and mind. You're Only Massive has experienced significant growth since its inception with a set up of two turntables and a microphone and has diversified its sonic palette to include techno, R’n’B and pop.
You're Only Massive have been ripping up the music rule book with great abandon in the last few years.
Their debut release Dot Dash the album was an immediate critical success, hailed by The Sunday Tribune as "a truly modern creation and one of the best Irish releases this year" and by The Irish Times as "light years ahead of their peers."
Live they are determined to make your body move and your head smile, and it is nigh impossible to resist.

Babybeef is the name of the electro pop solo project of Sarah Carroll, a Dublin based performance artist. Babybeef combines pure hyper coloured unashamed 1980's influenced FM plastic pop with darker driven sounds that call to mind Sparks, Kate Bush, Devo and the more modern sounds of LCD Soundsystem and Daft Punk. In September 2008 Babybeef recorded 5 songs at Experimental Audio with Stephen Shannon. The EP will be released in 2009
