A festival celebrating the music film genre
This exciting new festival features concert films, musical documentaries, films which popularised major movements in music history, films defined by their soundtracks and landmark moments of musical and cinema history. We also have a special children’s programme with dress-up and sing along family screenings and animation workshops.
MODEL SHORT FILMS SHOWCASE

Free screening of a selection of recently made Irish short films as part of The Model’s SOUND+VISION film festival.
This is an exciting opportunity to see some exciting work by young filmmakers, as The Model presents a diverse selection of short films,
which showcases exciting, emerging, new talent in Ireland. Showcasing the sheer diversity and creativity
within Irish filmmaking and includes work from independent filmmakers, and students from IADT, University of Ulster and Queens University
and also a selection of screenings from this year’s Belfast Film Festival. The International Fund for Ireland kindly supported this ongoing project in showcasing young talented filmmakers in Ireland.

while haunted by the happier memories of his past life.

This film gives a human face to the impact of the global financial crisis.
