Pay and Display parking in Sligo
Sligo Borough Council have introduced Pay and Display Parking Meters to Sligo.. Over 70 meters have been installed throughout the city at designated locations, and the new meters are designed to accept payment by credit cards and euro coins and parking can also be paid by mobile phone.
The Parking Meters will not give change so it will be necessary to have the correct fee to hand.
The Disc Parking System and the Pay and Display Parking Meter System will operate side by side until such time as stocks of Parking Discs have been used up by retailers and motorists.
